During a lovely afternoon of nature walking, these pictures were taken by a friend who just recently moved to Toronto to pursue a second degree in Interior Design at Ryerson. In actuality, I had asked her to go on a random little date just so that we could occupy her while we planned and executed a surprise tea party at her house- I love being so sneaky!

A change in perspective.

Needless to say, I'll miss this girl so much (we've known each other since we were both in elementary school) and I can't wait to see her again as soon as she comes back to visit. On another note, another close friend is also leaving for Toronto in a matter of weeks after obtaining an internship at a young and hip media publication that works with MTV studios. As a result, I'll be saying goodbye to yet another one of my childhood friends who has always been around for me when I most needed them for support. My friends have been joking that I'm the next one who will be making the move to the east coast in order to pursue a media-based career; while I am sure that I will be staying in Vancouver for the next while during the completion of my Publishing minor, I am most certainly keeping an open mind for my future! Who knows what exciting avenues might lie ahead for me in another city?
