It's always wonderful to meet up with like-minded individuals who are vibrant and full of aspirations that in turn inspire you to work harder towards your own goals. As my proposed line of future work will hopefully be within the media/publishing industry, I hope that I will have many opportunities to meet and acquaint myself with such individuals. Last week I had the pleasure of interviewing an ex-high school classmate, Bonita, for an AX3 Battery style feature. This gal has long impressed me with her amazing sense of style and bold take on the latest trends, which recently led me to get into contact with her about running a photoshoot and interview on her personal style. Luckily, she was more than happy to be our latest Trendy Tuesday subject and we set up this lovely meet and greet in order to get to know her better.
We met at the Vancouver Art Gallery Cafe where we ate delicious food and caught up with one another about our current lives and future career plans. Following our lovely chat, Evelyn (one of my wonderful compatriots at AX3) took pictures of both me and Bonita on the steps of the art gallery. Overall, we had such an amazing time and it certainly didn't feel like work!
After the interview, we even had the chance to take a look around the new Victoria's Secret store that had just opened the day before. Of course we had to the do the mandatory "angel wings" picture:
