Affordable Dream Wedding Dresses for 2014: Dress V

While I am but in my early twenties, I've attended enough weddings over the last few years to start imagining what my wedding and, in particular, my wedding dress will look like. My dream dress would blend together the best elements of style and comfort; such a dress must flatter all of my best features while downplaying (or, better yet, erasing) every flaw. All blushing brides should aspire to wear a dress that makes them feel like the most gorgeous creature in the room! Besides feeling fabulous, the most important thing for the bride to consider is the price tag. Since many young couples today are faced with wedding costs of at least thirty grand, it is never a bad idea to procure a dress that looks both gorgeous and costs a fraction of the usual hefty amount.

While there are many horror stories in relation to online shopping, I find that shopping in the electronic world has many perks and benefits, such as stumbling upon the chance to save big on items that normally would cost ridiculous amounts in-store. When Dress V (www.dressv.com) approached me to write a post about their 2014 wedding dresses, I was excited to have the opportunity to both browse their selection and daydream about my future gown possibilities. I discovered that this online boutique offers a deadly combination of beautiful designs and unbelievably affordable prices. In particular, Dress V aims to provide brides-to-be with the opportunity to purchase beautiful bridal gowns at a fraction of their usual market retail prices.

Here are some of my favourite 2014 wedding dresses from Dress V:

Classic Appliques & Sequins Mermaid Wedding Dress
If you ever watched The Little Mermaid as a small girl, I bet that you've also dreamed about walking down the aisle wearing a mermaid-style wedding gown. Make those dreams come true as an adult by choosing this gorgeous strapless and sleeveless dress; this piece features a tasteful amount of appliques and sequins that keeps things interesting without going overboard with embellishments.

Flower Tulle Chapel Train Wedding Dress
One of my biggest childhood regrets is that I never pushed my parents hard enough to let me fulfill my dreams of becoming a world-famous ballerina. What better way to celebrate the most important occasion of your lifetime than by being as beautiful as a ballerina in all her finery? This particular tulle-skirted dress features an A-Line silhouette, as well as a unique one shoulder strap over an appealing sweetheart neckline.

Glamorous Ball Gown Lace Wedding Dress
If you are a fan of Prince William and the Duchess Kate Middleton, you would have watched their wedding ceremony in 2011 with bated breath and slightly teary eyes. Even if you are not a huge admirer, you probably would have been awed by the beauty of Kate's gorgeous dress, which was soon after imitated by countless dressmakers. If you wish to be wed in a gown that will draw you as much attention as Kate, choose this incredible long-sleeved lace ball gown wedding dress that will have you looking as amazing as a princess on your big day.

I hope that you enjoyed daydreaming (or strategically planning, depending on your life stage) about your wedding day and dress with me! If you wish to check out Dress V's selection for yourself, follow this link: http://www.dressv.com/wedding-dresses-2014-c103383/.

  3. I love wedding dresses, I've already worn several beautiful wedding gowns for fashion shows on a wedding fair. It's a great feeling, though I don't really think I'll ever marry.

  4. Oh, how ethereal. I simply adore the final dress. Kate Middleton is a beautiful person, inside and out. Also loving your look in the last post--that edgy necklace is perfect with that lace top!

  5. I'm no where near getting married, but sometimes it's fun to think about what my dream wedding would be like. Sometimes I go on Pinterest and look at ideas even haha. Two of my good friends and my brother just got engaged, so I have some weddings coming up this year which I'm very excited about. I really love the 3 dresses you chose. I think the last one is gorgeous and so classic! It's a little more conservative than what I think I would want though. My favorite is the first one. I love how it's strapless and the stitching is so pretty!
