The Mane Deal: Hair Extensions and Wigs for the Fall Season
While those fashionably short, tousled bobs have been all the rage in Hollywood and fashionable spheres this past season, the arrival of autumn is a great time to contemplate some serious change in the hair department. If you've been rocking shorter hair lately, wouldn't you like to get back to LHC (Long Hair Club)? When it becomes a daunting task to slowly grow out your 'do, hair extensions will be your best friends for creating a stunning new mane of hair. Also, I’ll let you in on a little secret: I've been harbouring the urge to chop off my hair and go for that popular shoulder-length, tousled bob-- it seems so effortlessly stylish but I know that looks can be deceiving. Even if I actually work up the courage to chop it all off, I know that I’d probably cry after leaving the hairdresser. So why not try a wig instead? Or, in the case that I do cut my hair ridiculously short, I could always use clip in hair extensions to lengthen my locks again.
When I was kindly approached by Wigsbuy, an online brand, to write a post about their products, I realized that I am most certainly not a hair-oriented individual. In general, I try my best to create easy, presentable hairstyles that don’t take more than 10-15 minutes to complete as I prefer to spend more time and effort on my makeup and outfit. However, every once in a while I am inspired by a prolonged bout of Pinterest or Tumblr and feel the urge to try something fabulous and new.
When searching through Wigsbuy’s inventory, I was struck by the wide range and quality of the items offered. Their products are all made from real human hair and therefore provide a much higher level of quality than synthetic products. Have you ever tried using a synthetic wig before? It’s not a whole lot of fun when you’re getting an itch from wearing that fake stuff. Many also use celebrity photos as inspiration for a particular look that you might be craving, from Beyonce to Kim Kardashian to Tyra Banks.
Another thought comes to mind when it comes to wigs: Halloween costumes. With this fun holiday coming up soon, I've been thinking about creating a costume of a particular singer and style icon that I adore. To do so, I would most likely require a good quality human hair wig to recreate the kind of 60s-style, beehive hairdo that this celebrity likes to wear.
Here are my top picks from Wigsbuy:
Hair Extensions
Wigs
Wouldn't it be lovely to have hair as gorgeous as these celebrities for a day or two? As someone who struggles to style a decent hairdo on the daily basis, I'd brave clip in hair extensions or even a human hair wig for perfect hair in minutes!

hi, first i like your new header and the blue looks great! great review and the hair extensions are wonderful. your dress is a dream! and your hair looks amazing, such a cool curling!
ReplyDeleteOh my dear I would love to rock all of this gorgeous hairstyles. Celebreties have it soo easy when it comes to their hair. They have the best hairstyles and not to mention the money to afford those expensive human extensions/wigs!
ReplyDeleteFor me as african I do change my hair too and that very often but there are still some styles that I want to try myself too but blame it on my low-budget ugh!!
Always wanted to buy myself some very good indian or maybe brazilien hair so bad but it cost way too much. But I promised myself to save on it and meanwhile I'll go natural or even braid my hair. Fall is really the best time to join the LHC.
Also the idea is not bad to try a shoulder length hairstyle. I would love to see it on you and I guess it would look great on you.
But if you're still not sure you can try a wig instead to see how it'll look like.
Can't wait to see that. I got your back girl!
Have a great day.

They look very lovely. But i think i have a syndrome called 'i want my own hair to grow syndrome'. I don't like to wear wigs for more than two weeks....
