Springtime Blues

While I may have dressed mostly in blue today, my mood was far from being in the dumps as I had a most wonderful Friday! First off, I woke up early enough to get a super cheap and delicious breakfast at IKEA before I headed off to school for my first final exam. After finishing the exam in less than two hours (with my wrist surprisingly still intact after writing a very long essay), I browsed a local branch of Chapters Indigo, bought some frivolous post-exam treats for myself, and enjoyed some snacks at a nearby coffee shop. While the weather forecast predicted rain, I never was so happy for the notoriously unreliable science of meteorology to be wrong!  

More importantly, I was finally able to enjoy this lovely Tory Burch tote bag that my boyfriend purchased for me a few days ago at Holt Renfrew. It was a complete surprise as it wasn't a special occasion; however, I would never say no to something as pretty as this! I also had been wanting a Tory Burch bag for the last while, so this present was exactly what I had in mind.

Lastly, I was really happy to have an excuse to wear my new sunglasses-- these circular/oval lenses are all the rage these days and I just had to join in on the fun! I think I might get a few more pairs while I'm at it...
