Burgundy at the Quayside
Every week, Friday seems to return with surprising speed and we realize that yet another seven days have flown by. I suppose that can only be a positive thing when we are all counting down the days, hours, and minutes until the arrival of spring! Yesterday, I was able to enjoy a lovely day-long date with my boyfriend as he was lucky enough to take a half-day off from work. We ended up spending a long, pleasant day eating, shopping, eating again, and finally watching a movie. To try something new, we visited the newly revamped Quayside in New Westminster-- if you haven't been there before, I recommend it as a relaxing and tranquil place to eat good food and not be bothered by enormous crowds.
Necklace // Topshop
Hat // Ever New
Lace Blouse // c/o Sammy Dress
Dress // H&M
Jacket & Tights // Forever 21
Shoes & Bag // Material Girl
In between shopping at several home decor stores (there are so many lovely boutiques hidden away in New Westminster), we stopped at a gelato cafe within the River Market where we sipped on delicious double shot expresso macchiattos and read newspapers.

Afterwards, we ate at the Hub Restaurant located within the new complex at the New Westminster skytrain station until it was time to watch Non-Stop, which stars the apparently invincible Liam Neeson. Similarly to his other movies such as Taken, Taken 2, and Unknown, Neeson portrays a wronged man who goes against impossible odds to save the day and beat up bad guys. While it was far from an Academy Award winner, the movie's non-stop action did the trick in entertaining us that night.
What are your favourite things to do on Fridays?
like jacket and shoes so much<3

I love your top! so fabulous! If the weather is nice I like to be outside, doing gardening or reading a book, be with my friends. When I am with my bfriend in France, we like to go surfing a lot or just walking by the beach. :)

That sounds like a great day out! I haven't been to New West in ages but I've heard of the revamp. I really want to jump on the hat bandwagon because I think it makes your outfit have a casual chic vibe. Love the pop of burgundy from your tights. such a great way to add colour to an outfit. Can't wait for out day out soon!
